I had a great dinner with my friend at Bacari W 3rd. Right off the bat, you are greeted with its charming vibes. You enter through a tunnel that leads to an open courtyard/garden area. I would definitely recommend getting the outdoor seating. Their food is tapa style. Perfect for those who like to try a variety of dishes or for those with a small appetite. Overall, the food is delicious and their cocktails are impressive. The servers were attentive, professional, and kind. If you're ever in Melrose, give this place a try!

I don't normally write reviews, but I literally HAD to. We came on a whim on a weekend trip for dinner and LOVED it. We got here about 6:15 and it's currently 9 o'clock and honestly we could stay all night. Our server was Justin and he was so thoughtful, prompt, and so sweet! We ordered almost solely off of his suggestions and loved every single last thing. I would honestly come again just to have him order for me. It's like he could read our minds. The food was fresh, delicious and paced so perfectly for a great dining experience. The visual soundscape mocktail was so yummy! I could have had 4. 11/10 would come again. (Richard the manager is a treasure, so fun!)

After a very welcoming greeting from our hostess and server, we shared a number of items and enjoyed the lettuce cups and pancakes the most. The setting has both indoor and covered outdoor seating, and the vibe is both fun and inviting. The small shareable plates and good selection of different dishes allowed our group to each try everything we were interested in. Just one thing was inconsistent with the rest of the experience--we ordered the donuts and asked that they be brought out last but they arrived second. After letting our server know, they were taken away but then the same ones were brought out at the end and by then the dipping sauces had a thick skin on them and the donuts themselves were only warm and no longer carried the same freshly fried smell that they had arrived with earlier. I hope that this can be handled differently so that fresh donuts can be enjoyed for every order because they really do smell amazing.

so amazing. everything was so good. the drinks (love letter and chill pill) and the food (chicken sliders, bacari burger, and burrata caprese) were so amazing. best food i've had in a long time. me and my boyfriend audibly said MM after the first sip and bite of everything.

Love Bacari - have eaten here several times and have always had a great experience. I stopped in with a friend this weekend for a quick drink and we were seated at the bar, first time for me. The bar stools are raised at the sides and I (dress size 12) couldn't fit my hips into them, leaving me with the options of perching very uncomfortably at the edge of the seat, or standing. I know it's LA, but this feels kind of ridiculous and unfortunate. We had wonderful cocktails and service, but left quickly because the seating situation was so uncomfortable. Hope this can be rectified in the future!

Knowing this is place attempts to transport you to another land, beware of the gravel and do not wear stiletto heels. Service was mediocre but they were really busy. I like that servers help each other out so you're not just assigned to one. You really can get help from anybody that passes by. The minute you walk in the alley it already feels like a whole New Romantic world. It is stunning at best. The cobbled stones def were scary when walking on it to our seating area. It was good there are no steps. The trees, hanging lights, flowers were all such beautiful touches to a sunny day. The simplicity of the food but robust flavors of all really added to the great experience. Sea bass is definitely a must. It is so perfectly grilled with all of the vegetables on the side. Brussels sprouts perfectly crispy on the outside. I wasn't too sure about the egg on top of the fries, but it adds a nice rich flavor. It does get the fries really soggy, though if you cut the yolk too early. The one that I didn't care for was the chicken sliders. Unfortunately, the dressing had a sour taste to it, but I should've known better when it said pickled cucumber was in it. Finished off with the bread pudding, which was completely piping hot on the skillet and ice cream all melted within it. It is definitely sweet of you like it sweet and hot. I love the sides were crispy because it's baked within the skillet. It definitely is a shareable place but can easily rack up the bill. Expect to spend about 80 bucks a person if drinks ordered.

After a wonderful experience at Bacari Silverlake, my family made reservations at this location for my second Mother's Day celebration. The entrance is a small opening between Byrdie's and Optical Sphere. It's difficult to see when driving by but so charming when you walk up to it. I especially love the passageway that leads to the vintage doors of the restaurant. We were seated in the garden area under the large tree. We ordered several dishes that I enjoyed from Silverlake and tried some new ones. I was only disappointed by the Feta Filo not being available. Otherwise, the family really liked the Egg Pizza (bacon added), Chipotle Chicken Wings and Bacari Fries. Service was great as our dishes were paced out perfectly. We had such a lovely time. My husband is already making plans to take me to another location.
